With a strong background in banking, including her time managing Cumberland Bank in Lafayette, Pat built Starr Mortgage on the foundation of deep local roots, industry knowledge, and a commitment to helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams.
For 15 years, Pat owned and operated Starr Mortgage with a focus on dependable, client-centered lending. In August 2023, she passed the torch to Crystie Keene, someone who has been closely connected to Starr Mortgage from the very beginning.

Crystie brings over 25 years of experience as a real estate paralegal, having worked as the closing agent for Starr Mortgage through Andrew A. Stanford, Attorney at Law, since the company’s inception. Her long-standing collaboration with Pat, combined with her deep understanding of the mortgage process, made her the natural successor to continue Starr’s mission.

In July 2023, Crystie earned her license to originate loans, marking the next chapter in Starr Mortgage’s story. With a blend of legal expertise and a dedication to client success, she is committed to maintaining the high standards Starr Mortgage is known for—while continuing to evolve with the needs of today’s buyers and homeowners.
